I co-founded Spurfly with two partners. It's a free time calendaring web and mobile app designed to help people make last minute plans with close friends and groups.
As CTO, I generated product ideas and marketing strategies, produced mockups, designed the complete iPhone interface, wrote specifications for web and iOS apps, managed a team of developers, and developed most of the current API and a chunk of the current web app.
I joined Sprowtt Marketplace as a co-founder and CTO during my final year of law school.
We were featured as a Techcrunch 50 finalist in 2009 for our efforts to build an online small public and private offering platform, driving down costs of conducting < $5M stock offerings while establishing best practices to pave the way for crowdfunding for equity. Our product roadmap included compliance automation, an electronic roadshow, pre-qualification of investors, and a transaction module with e-sign.
I served as Director of Technology and later Executive Director for this online library of constitutional history.
In addition to non-profit management duties, my technical contributions included adding features to a legacy web application, developing a prototype for a new version of the site, and leading a team to design and develop the current consource.org using open source web technologies.
